The crashed tables for registration and other stuff is easy to fix (using the Mysql command "REPAIR TABLE").

What we could do is start compling a list of bugs on the Tasks page, so if and when development resumes the developers know what needs doing.

I've got no idea. I'll send off an email to one of the admins in a moment to check, since I've been meaning to contact them anyway.

There seems to be ~10 guests on most days, but I have no idea if that's genuine users or crawler bots. If they are real users we need to do something to convince them to register.

#1 All completed missions lost on 01/01/1970 00:00
Hi there,
I registered this account about two weeks ago and completed some of the missions and also 3 of the skills center lessons.
Now I was offline for about a week and came today to check some new missions. After logging in I saw that all my points are lost and also my profile says I've never completed any mission but my Skill center medals are still there.
Maybe this occured during the recent site update.

Could any of the staff members have a look at this?

Thanks in advance!

yeah-- I had to do a few over. doesn't matter because if you can do it once you can do it again.

Yes but it still sucks big time. Doing all those challenges again will take a lot of time :(

Yeah, I'll restore them once I get off work.

@swiftnomad: ok you can call it an exercise to do the missions again ... luckily aint that many for me... but I just wondered.

@ttyler333: yes my colleague also didnt loose any points/missions but that sounds even stranger to me if this happened to only a few accounts.

it had something to do with a backup we made to test the user accounts on the update when it was being built to fit Zi. then we made a backup again before the move and closed Zi down.

anything done in between those two backups caused some sort of contradiction and it deleted the missions done. the new members that joined however were added in.

But no worries we fix it :)

Ok fixed, and like hack4u said. We loaded an older backup when we moved to phpFort and then I mistakenly updated just the users and not the missions tracker table, so they were outdated. By the time we realized many people completed many more missions that what were lost. So, whoever lost points will have to contact me and I'll restore them to whatever they were lastly.

well unless you know what they had before, you could get fed crap and they could get missions that they didn't beat

i don't really see what the big deal is about doing missions you've already done, aside from it being time consuming...

zi maybe should devote more bandwidth and a cron to backing the db up twice a day??? or once a day lol so then if anything the backups are either 12 hours max off or 24 hours max... so then its not like ya lost much either
