yeah so i've found out i have Malware thats acting as Adware. so i've taken the adress all the adds are coming from and this is it: 85.17.166.173
but i need help removing it. its an annoying ad. Replaces pics on some sites. pisses me off. anyway. anyhelp is appreciated. I googled it and its not just my problem. Lots of people have it. so if you can help me i can help them. thx Freaky Transvestite Paradox = FTP |

While I do not know the specific malware you are talking about, I can recommend: Spyware Search and Destroy....and then install AVAST! Anti-virus. Both are free programs (though you have to register AVAST!, it is worth it.)
Those should take care of it, also you could always get a firewall and get it to block incoming connections from that IP. But definatly get those on there if you don't have a spyware/adware/virus scanner. They are the best you can get for free. May the Winds be with you. |

when an unknown virus/worm/ad/bad boy progy comes to my laptop i just instal Hitman, it is a collection of free anti add/bot/virus progs it once cleard 200 different bad progy from my old PC anyway more info here:

i can recommend malwarebytes antimalware. I believe you can still get a free trial which includes one scan and removal. If not there are other ways of getting it that im sure you know about MDK -.o

Use Combofix. in my experience the best thing to do. gets stuff that others don't. also scans through drivers.

I realized just after i posted but this info may help others so i don't take it as a dead thread revival. I take it as a sum of ideas on the given problem.
