So, my laptop kicks ass if it worked.. my motherboard blew and cannot be fixed. So I have a big door stop. Sucks ass because I sold my pc to get a laptop.

OK, so. A lot of people have the same problem with these HPs motherboard blowing out. They even have an extended warranty for that fact. BUT!! Your product number has to match.. so if you had an upgrade like a scsi drive or something.. you will get a different product number. Same motherboard and same issue.

So, I though this used.. it worked for the full hour that I tested it. Everything was OK..

This is what I want to do and I need to know the process of doing so. I want to by a post accidental warranty. They already know that the laptop broke.. but I told them that it was getting fixed by a third party vender. So if I was to buy the warranty for 225 then run it over with my car and then turn it in to get fixed.. but I will tell them something like I dropped it running across the street or something.. what is accidental?

Do you know if they check online chats before they fix it?

Look.. Does not cover preexisting damage to applicable hardware

I found that here. But how can they check to see if it was like it before you drop it?

http://tinyurl.com/3nnf7o

Its funny because they told me its $225.. and I see here thats its $109.99

but this laptop is a year and a half old.. someone give me feedback!
