Did you install the network drivers?
Are the cables plugged in or broken? Does your modem "marry" a mac address (some broadband modems)? Have your released & renewed your IP Configurations? Have you flushed your DNS? Are you connecting through a modem/router with DMZ on? Tried resetting the modem, (if using a router, reset it after the modem is on), then retrieve your IP config? Thats all I can think of at the moment |

are you using a built in modem card in your pc?
if so its best to check for drivers. and if you have done that already the best option is to reinstall the drivers. a great way to test your connection is using another computer as well. if it works for the other computer.. than its def your card. then you might want to get a new one. enjoy. ![]() ![]() |

Please help me...
I had MODEM settings saved in my Vista. But I changed the MODEM due to some problem. Now, Vista is not accepting the new settings of the new MODEM as it is not releasing the settings of the previous MODEM. My ISP engr. says, it is a drawback of Vista. Is it so?? If not, please help in entering the new settings. |
